MEET ANGELA HUNTINGTON.

As a British-born artist now rooted in the rich Canadian landscape, my work explores the intersection of painting and fashion through bold geometric abstraction. Using vibrant colour fields and hard-edge compositions, I create paintings that translate directly into wearable art. The same angular forms and saturated hues that activate the canvas become garments that move through space.

I'm drawn to the graphic language of architecture: not buildings themselves, but the visual vocabulary of structure, planes, and intersecting lines. This geometric framework allows me to explore how colour and form create rhythm, tension, and balance across different mediums.

By bringing my paintings into the realm of fashion, I'm interested in how abstract art can leave the wall and enter everyday life. Geometry becomes kinetic, colour becomes wearable, and the work transforms from object to experience, experience to object.
